This new venture from the proprietors of Dukes 92 in Castlefield is a large, single floor, open plan restaurant on Barlow Moor Rd in Didsbury.

With the great success of the Albert’s Shed restaurant in Castlefield the owners wanted to keep the vibe very similar with smooth clean lines and a discrete music system to provide background atmosphere.

We installed a 100v distributed line system allowing us to place many small speakers on a single channel of an amplifier, which kept the rack equipment to a minimum in a very restrictive back-of-house space – the equipment was restricted to just 4u to power and control 22 speakers in 4 zones!

We used RCF PL6X ceiling speakers and APart CMS15T in-wall speakers to provide good even coverage across the dining areas and Tannoy Di 5t & Di 5DCt wall-mount speakers for the slightly more demanding outdoor and bar areas.

The sleek and architecturally sympathetic design of these speakers pleased the owner by keeping with the clean lines of the restaurant’s image.
