An established and well-known member of the Manchester dining scene located on a picturesque arcade at the Castlefield end of Deansgate.

This fine establishment offers the best in traditional Greek and mezze style eating and drinking – recently expanded and refurbished Dimitri’s now has even more to offer.

Dimitri’s is one of our longest running clients and has had one of our background music systems for over 15 years but with the venue refurb also came a refurbed soundsystem. We extended into the new areas that the restaurant has moved into and changed the layout of the existing speakers (that are still going strong after 15 years!) to accommodate the new bar position.

Dimitri stated that he wanted to be able to put on live music in the restaurant if he wished and so we installed a pair of 12” Martin Audio AQ12s tucked up to the ceiling in the main dining area specifically for this purpose. We serviced his amplifiers and control equipment and installed a new amplifier with digital management features for his live music speakers, which gave EQ and limiter facilities to help protect the equipment and enhance the sound quality.

Further to this, we installed a TV screen in the main area and linked the TV audio through the background music system to provide more flexibility to the restaurant’s event facilities. We even provided them with the ability to mix the sound of cicadas in with the music outside in the arcade to give that true mediterranean feel. Hopefully this will keep them running and future-proofed for at least another 15 years!
