A bar providing food during the day and DJs, comedy and live music during the evenings.

Situated tucked away in the trendy Northern Quarter and with décor like you’ve never seen before this is a unique and popular drinking hole, despite being off the beaten track.

With 3 distinct areas in the main bar and a separate function room this venue required a flexible sound system capable of dealing with many different uses.

We installed a system based around the Martin Audio AQ8 speaker, employing 9 in the main bar and a further 4 in the function room. This allowed us to combine good low-level coverage with power and volume at higher levels. Larger 12″ speakers and a pair of 15” reflex-loaded subs sited in the busy central area provide the extra volume and impact needed for the DJs during peak times on the weekend.

With the capability of piping audio from either the main bar or function room DJ set-ups, the TV system or an in-house music server or via a direct microphone plug-in point for the comedy nights, there are options for every event and occasion.

We also recently added a few dispersion lasers to give the venue an extra visual edge during DJ-led evening events.
