The Metropolitan is a magnificent old pub and restaurant situated in a superb spot in West Didsbury.

With ample outdoor dining and drinking space it’s a magnet for all that is good during the summer and with open fires and original fittings and decor inside it’s the perfect place to have a cosy pint on a cold winter’s evening.

We supply the Metropolitan with screens and speakers and as the site has grown and expanded, so we’ve helped the entertainment system do the same – the plasma screen in the picture below has been there for years now, for screens this size it looks like LED is the future.

Recent work includes a rear projection system for the outside bar and weather-proof Tannoy speakers, rated to IP64 standard. The owner, Jim Barker, demands work be carried out to the highest standards. One of the reasons this wonderfully well rescued pub is so popular and keeps on improving.
